The Sea Glass Colour Palette
Six colours give this collection its range. Cobalt sits at the deepest end: a strong, saturated blue that reads as a grounding tone in a room. Teal is darker than you might expect, more ocean shadow than Caribbean postcard. Aqua is the lightest of the blues, clean and open.
Frost moves away from blue altogether into cool grey. Pebble warms things up slightly, the colour of a dry beach stone at midday. Turquoise sits in the middle, the connector between the blues and the neutrals. Together, the six create a graduated sweep that holds together whether you use them all in one bouquet or pick two or three.
We make every pom from 100% New Zealand wool on wire stems wrapped in biodegradable jute twine, and hand-finish the bouquets at our workshop near the coast in St Agnes. No plastic in the product or the packaging.
How to Style Sea Glass Bouquets in Your Home
Cool, bright rooms
Cobalt and teal show their depth best against white or pale grey walls. A Grande Bouquet (ten stems, 6cm poms) in a clear glass vase on a white shelf gives the colour room to register without competing.
Warm or neutral spaces
Frost and pebble work in warmer settings without clashing. They read as quiet texture rather than bold colour. The Bunch (six stems, £42) is a good starting point here.
Mixed arrangements
Buy individual colour sets (five Grande at £37 or five Pop at £32) and combine turquoise with aqua for a tonal pair, or mix pebble into Coast's amber for a cross-collection arrangement that bridges warm and cool.
Frequently Asked Questions About the Sea Glass Collection
What colours are in the Sea Glass collection?
Six tones: turquoise, aqua, teal, frost, cobalt, and pebble. The range runs from deep saturated blues through to cool greys with a warm pebble neutral.
How long do Protea Poms last?
Protea Poms are crafted from 100% New Zealand wool and designed to last for years with minimal care. Unlike cut flowers, they won't wilt, drop petals, or need replacing, making them an exceptional long-term investment for your home.
Are Protea Poms suitable for people with allergies?
Yes. Our poms are made from naturally hypoallergenic New Zealand wool, making them a beautiful option for those who can't have fresh flowers or synthetic alternatives in the home.
How do I care for my Protea Poms?
To keep your poms looking their best, gently shake or use a soft brush or cool hairdryer setting to remove dust. Keep them out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from humid environments like bathrooms. If storing, wrap loosely in tissue paper. The jute stems can be gently reshaped to suit any vase.
What sizes are available in the Sea Glass collection?
Every size: The Trio (three stems, £24), The Bunch (six stems, £42), The Bouquet (ten Pop Poms, £62), The Grande Bouquet (ten Grande Poms, £68), and The Statement (twenty stems, £125). You can also buy individual Sea Glass colour sets of five.
