Why Sunset Stands Out
Most of our collections lean toward the muted, grounded end of the coastal palette. Sunset goes the other way. This is the collection for rooms that need a jolt, for people who want their bouquet to be the thing you notice first when you walk in.
The magenta carries real warmth and depth. It reads as hot pink at a distance and reveals more complexity up close. Lime cuts through it with a sharp freshness, and the verdant green anchors the whole arrangement so it doesn't float. Put all three in a dark-toned vase on a white shelf and the colour almost vibrates.
We make every pom from 100% New Zealand wool on wire stems wrapped in biodegradable jute twine. The wool holds its colour for years, and the wire core means you can bend and arrange the stems to get the shape you want. No plastic anywhere in the product or the packaging, and the wool is naturally hypoallergenic.
How to Choose Your Sunset Bouquet
A single bright accent
The Trio (three stems, £24) gives enough colour to register on a bookshelf or bedside table without dominating the space. As a gift it lands well because the colours are confident and unexpected.
A proper arrangement
The Bunch (six stems, £42) and The Bouquet (ten Pop Poms at 5cm, £62) fill a mid-sized vase. The Grande Bouquet (ten Grande Poms at 6cm, £68) has more visual mass and suits rooms where you want the bouquet to hold its own against furniture and artwork.
Go bold
The Statement (twenty stems, £125) is the full commitment. Ten Grande Poms and ten Pop Poms across all three colours. It fills a large vase and becomes the focal point of whatever room it sits in.
Individual magenta sets
If you love the magenta and want a single-colour arrangement, we sell sets of five Grande Poms (£37) or five Pop Poms (£32) in magenta. Pair them with a slim ceramic vase for a clean, concentrated hit of colour.
Frequently Asked Questions About the Sunset Collection
What colours are in the Sunset collection?
Three tones: a vivid magenta, a bright zesty lime, and a deep verdant green. The palette draws from the intense sky and sea colours of a Cornish sunset.
How long do Protea Poms last?
Protea Poms are crafted from 100% New Zealand wool and designed to last for years with minimal care. Unlike cut flowers, they won't wilt, drop petals, or need replacing, making them an exceptional long-term investment for your home.
Are Protea Poms suitable for people with allergies?
Yes. Our poms are made from naturally hypoallergenic New Zealand wool, making them a beautiful option for those who can't have fresh flowers or synthetic alternatives in the home.
How do I care for my Protea Poms?
To keep your poms looking their best, gently shake or use a soft brush or cool hairdryer setting to remove dust. Keep them out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from humid environments like bathrooms. If storing, wrap loosely in tissue paper. The jute stems can be gently reshaped to suit any vase.
Can I buy the magenta on its own?
Yes. Individual magenta sets are available in Grande (five stems, £37) and Pop (five stems, £32). You can combine them with tones from other collections or display them as a single-colour arrangement.
