What Makes The Bouquet Different
Ten stems at 5cm each. The Pop Pom scale means the poms sit close together in a standard vase, layering against each other to create an even coverage of colour. In Sea Pink, this produces a gentle, warm cloud of pink, sage, pebble, and white. In Sea Glass, the blues and teals blend into something close to a watercolour effect.
The Bouquet sits at GBP62, six pounds less than The Grande Bouquet (GBP68), and uses the same number of stems. The difference is pom diameter: 5cm here vs 6cm in The Grande Bouquet. If your vase is mid-sized and your room calls for colour that fills without dominating, this is the one to consider.
We make every pom from 100% New Zealand wool on wire stems wrapped in biodegradable jute twine, and hand-finish the bouquets at our workshop near the Cornish coast in St Agnes.
Where The Bouquet Works Best
Bedrooms and studies
The softer scale suits quieter spaces. A Bouquet in Sea Pink on a dressing table, or Wild on a desk shelf, adds colour without competing with the room's purpose.
Paired arrangements
Two Bouquets in different collections, placed at either end of a mantlepiece or long sideboard, create a paired effect. Sea Glass at one end and Coast at the other bridges cool and warm without clashing.
Adding density to a larger arrangement
If you already have a Trio or a Bunch and want more colour in the same vase, adding The Bouquet's ten Pop Poms fills the gaps between the larger Grande Poms and creates a richer, more textured arrangement.
Frequently Asked Questions About The Bouquet
What is in The Bouquet?
Ten Pop Poms, each 5cm in diameter, on wire stems wrapped in biodegradable jute twine. All ten poms are in the colours of the collection you choose.
How does The Bouquet differ from The Grande Bouquet?
Both have ten stems. The Bouquet uses 5cm Pop Poms (GBP62); The Grande Bouquet uses 6cm Grande Poms (GBP68). Pop Poms cluster tighter for a softer effect; Grande Poms spread wider for a more sculptural look.
How long do Protea Poms last?
Protea Poms are crafted from 100% New Zealand wool and designed to last for years with minimal care. Unlike cut flowers, they won't wilt, drop petals, or need replacing, making them an exceptional long-term investment for your home.
Are Protea Poms suitable for people with allergies?
Yes. Our poms are made from naturally hypoallergenic New Zealand wool, making them a beautiful option for those who can't have fresh flowers or synthetic alternatives in the home.
How do I care for my Protea Poms?
To keep your poms looking their best, gently shake or use a soft brush or cool hairdryer setting to remove dust. Keep them out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from humid environments like bathrooms. If storing, wrap loosely in tissue paper. The jute stems can be gently reshaped to suit any vase.
