Grande Bouquet vs The Bouquet
Both hold ten stems and sit at a similar price point (GBP68 for The Grande Bouquet, GBP62 for The Bouquet). The difference is the pom size. The Grande Bouquet uses exclusively 6cm Grande Poms; The Bouquet uses 5cm Pop Poms. That 1cm gap changes the character of the arrangement.
Grande Poms spread further apart in a vase and create a looser, more architectural shape. Each pom registers as its own sphere of colour. The Bouquet, by contrast, clusters the smaller poms together into a denser, softer mass. If you want individual colour definition, The Grande Bouquet is the one. If you want an even wash of colour, The Bouquet does that better.
Where The Grande Bouquet Works
Confident spaces
A wide shelf, a console table, a hearth. The Grande Bouquet has the visual mass to hold its own in rooms with high ceilings, bold furniture, or artwork on the walls. It does not get lost.
Colour as architecture
In Sea Glass, ten 6cm poms spread across cobalt, teal, aqua, frost, turquoise, and pebble create a gradient effect. In Wild, the earthy tones read almost as a single colour block with subtle variation. The uniform pom size lets the palette do the talking.
Pairing with other sizes
A Grande Bouquet in one collection alongside a Trio in another gives a room two focal points at different scales. The stems and twine are identical across the range, so they sit together naturally.
We make every pom from 100% New Zealand wool on wire stems wrapped in biodegradable jute twine. No plastic anywhere. Naturally hypoallergenic. Hand-finished at our Cornish workshop and dispatched next day.
Frequently Asked Questions About The Grande Bouquet

How long do Protea Poms last?
Protea Poms are crafted from 100% New Zealand wool and designed to last for years with minimal care. Unlike cut flowers, they won't wilt, drop petals, or need replacing, making them an exceptional long-term investment for your home.
Are Protea Poms suitable for people with allergies?
Yes. Our poms are made from naturally hypoallergenic New Zealand wool, making them a beautiful option for those who can't have fresh flowers or synthetic alternatives in the home.
How do I care for my Protea Poms?
To keep your poms looking their best, gently shake or use a soft brush or cool hairdryer setting to remove dust. Keep them out of prolonged direct sunlight and away from humid environments like bathrooms. If storing, wrap loosely in tissue paper. The jute stems can be gently reshaped to suit any vase.
